Yes. Once the tests are complete and our radiologist goes over the images and provides us results, we fax those results immediately to your referring provider or specialist.

Typically, it will take about 24 hours for us to receive the results of your scan and fax over to your doctor.

Absolutely! Most times your referring provider will note it on your referral for you to receive a copy of your scan on a CD. If this is not noted, you can always ask for a copy and we will gladly provide you one!

Depending on the type of study, how many are requested, and whether contrast is needed, MRIs typically can take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. If there is movement during the scan, an MRI can take longer due to not being able to retrieve a clear image and having to do the scan again.

Not at all! Getting an MRI done is painless and you will not feel anything.

Before your scan, please let us know if you have any metal or electronic implants such as aneurysm clips, cardiac pacemaker, implanted cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), or any magnetically-activated implant or device as it could be very dangerous to enter an MRI machine with any of these.
